Construction Details:

The shirt is made of Casa Satin and lined, inlcuding the collar which is self-lined and edgestitched. All the silver and red sections were made with highly metallic lycra over tagboard which was then attached to the silver cording. The sheer petaled skirt has more silver at the tips, and red drop stone beads. The petals on the anklets are wired to stand up. The wig is actually two, one hand-sewn to the other over styrofoam to form the topknot and then cascade down the back. The wig also has cool pale-blue streaks in it. The wire supports for the hairsticks run up the back of my head inside the wig and are anchored to the styrofoam. The multitude of red cabochons are held on either by glue (to the costume) or spirit gum (to my face). :)
