Construction Details:

I've never seen the white rose dresses done before so I decided to take a stab at making them for myself and 2 other friends who will be Michiru and Hotaru. The dress was made out of (shiny) bridal satin with the lining made from bridal satin as well (but the dull kind instead of shiny... not intentional, but it just worked out that way). The roses are vinyl rose pins that were purchased in the fashion district... being that they are in pin form, it makes the garment easier for washing without worrying as much about the flowers and with the flowers being made of vinyl, they hold their shape better than most silk flowers. The wig is just my Evil-lyn wig and was purchased (years ago) from Karen's Wigs International (I believe the wig's "name"/type is Roni).
