Construction Details:

Shorts and vest were made of left over spandex from Eclair. Both shorts and vest are fully lined in itself, and I must say that lining a spandex vest in spandex is a rather frustrating task. Vest has a working button on top, and the buttons are hearts to match my necklace. Top is also made out of spandex and is lined. I made the purple/blue strips in the front out of a type of fancy fabric ( kind of like confetti dot but not really) since I thought it appropriate for Sheryl. Belt was made of teal pleather and then painted purple to match my shoes. Buckle was harvest from another (really cute. ;__;) belt. Necklace is made of clay and then painted. Shoes are my favorite part! They were black t-straps that I altered and painted purple, though I masked off the bottoms as they were red and wanted to leave them that way. I then painted the gold star on the back with fabric paint and added some crystals at the points. The roses on the front are made from left over Ranka fabric and crystals were added to them as well. Mic is HELLA ghetto and was made in 30mins before we left. Made of vinyl, pvc pipe and lots of glue, then sprayed gold. Personal Thoughts:

One of my friends was cosplay Ranka and somehow they didn't have a Sheryl! Blaspheme! I've always wanted to do some Sheryl outfits too so it was the perfect chance. I chose this version since no one seems to do it and I honestly don't care for main outfits. I made this one since I had 90% of the stuff on hand. It was fun playing another character from Macross! I love the series so much.
