Construction Details:

Well, this costume is rather scary to wear, seeing that the top doesn't feel very supportive O_o and is pretty well impossible to fight in due to concerns of wardrobe malfunctions. The crown is made of gold carboard and painted to look lke a butterfly, and is attached to a headband with pink roses on the back. The top is a suede and lined, with gold leafing paint for the design, the beaded trim along the bottom of the top I improvised for a creative touch, and the it was $20/yard O_o The gloves and leggings are stretch velvet in the same colour as the top, with tons of gold lame, and rhinestones embellishments. The skirt is crepe back satin, with organza at the top, and I painted the design. The whip I made on a whim, which is why it's not 100% accurate, it's made of various wooden shapes, and a dowel, linked together, and painted copper.
