Construction Details:

I used velvet for the brightest red parts (hood, puffed sleeves, buttcape), taffeta for the over-skirt (fdsdfsg NEVER AGAIN), and some spandex blends for the garters and top. The thigh-highs were altered from pantyhose and the ruffles were pre-made - I found them in the Christmas section at Fabricland last year. The stars are gold spandex left over from Cho's fabulous Gwendolyn. She also helped me pattern the buttcape and overskirt. There are some things I want to fix up - the overskirt was baggy in spots, as you can probably see, and I'd like to get it fitting better. My wig ended up looking pretty bright in photos. I chose it originally because it was closest to the artbook colours and I thought that it would help to evoke an OS-like colour scheme with all the bright hues, but I was ultimately disappointed because it photographed crayon-yellow. The second and third times I wore this, I used my own hair, which I probably should've just used in the first place.
