Construction Details:

I love easy cosplay. I made the sweater and belt.

The sweater is made of fleece, and I used the wrong side of fleece, so while I'll be nice and toasty warm in the winter. This cosplay kills me in the summer. But yeah, drafted the pattern from scratch, which you can probably tell since I messed up the neck area. Herpa derp.

But I bought checkered fabric, and applied fray check on it, then cut it out. And since I was too lazy to shift through my supplies to find adhesive (or grab the iron and ironing board), I used E-6000 glue to apply the checkers onto the fleece.

And of course, all the seams for the sweater are finished.

For the belt I used left over vinyl I had laying around, and sewed two pieces together. I then sewed on the buckle, and made a few holes through the vinyl with an exacto knife. Since the ends of the belt kept drooping I put velcro at the end, so it stays up. And that's my ghetto way of making a belt.

Whoops pretend I have a belt from my Otakon set of photos with Kaya. I left it in my luggage by accident.
