Construction Details:

He is made from fleece, yarn, and plastic buttons. I started by looking at patterns for stuffed bears, rabbits, and cats. I even looked at a cherub doll to figure out the fingers. The individual parts were sewn on my machine. I then hand stitched the yarn details on and stuffed and attached each part by hand. Also the entire head was hand stitched. I used hook and eye closures to attach it to my back.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first stuffed animal/ plushy thing. It was a bit more of a challenge then I thought it would be! I had to hand sew most of it because the only time I got to work on it was when the baby I watch was asleep. I used the hook and eye closures over Velcro to make sure it would stay on my back all day with out falling. He came out pretty cute, a little off but I am pleased with him. Tokunaga is a party animal!
