Construction Details:

I adore this outfit, it feels so elegant. The top is made from a spandex fabric and the gold detailing is lame. Pants are made from a gorgeous dark purple stretch velvet. Also, I drafted the pattern for the pants from a pair of running spandex pants I owned. Skit is made of l'amour satin and lined with a really interesting sparkly fabric (with little beads on it) I found at JoAnns.Feathers are ostrich feathers, one side of it is attached with tiny magnets. Fun fact: I used 4 different shades of purple fabric for this outfit lols.

Personal Thoughts:

I need to get some more shots of this costume. At the time of the photo shoot I forgot my arm warmers and hair feather but it's all good for now ;). Need to take some more pictures of this costume. For May Wong, I learned how to use/play with poi for the skit I was in with Project Victory Cosplay Theatre for Fanime 2010.
