Construction Details:

I was originally going to make Yuzuruha first, but after Fanime, I felt like making Momohime instead! Plus, I would match -Reiko-'s Kongiku better~ I reallllllly wanted to recreate that water color effect in the game, so I decided to make my whole kimono first out of white fabric, and then dye everything. Yellow/Orange first, and then the pink! The Obi is also dyed blue a little bit in the back (although, it's kinda hard to tell in pictures- you can see it in person!). My favorite parts of this costume are the wig and the armor. The wig is basically a short black wig as the base, with two short ponytails turned upside down. When you turn ponytails like those upside down, they become fluffy and bigger, which I wanted for Momohime's giant pigtails. The armor took forever and I think it turned out okay! Armor's not my specialty at all :x My favorite part about them is how they're attached- MAGNETS! I really wanted to use magnets for a costume, and I found a reason :]
