I think this might have been the first time I made my own pattern. I based the pattern off of a dress I already had, and then altered the crap out of it. I'm really pleased with the end result; I think it looks very accurate with the character. And it's actually quite comfortable to wear and walk around in... if only it wasn't so short. (Oh game animated characters, how impossible your body proportions are to emmulate.) I bought the blouse and cut it up, although in her illustrations, it isn't quite as poofy, so I might just one day have a burst of ambition and make her blouse-y area. Note: I love ruffles.
