Construction Details:

The hair ribbons and all of the trim on the costume is bias tape. The designs on the cape thingy were painted on by me. The knife was made out of foam and Model Magic, and then it snaps onto the dress. The shoes gave me the most trouble, as I had no idea how to go about making them. I ended up using a pair of loafers as a base, and then using wonderflex, craft foam, and gesso for the armor parts. I wanted to be able to take Tokunaga on and off my back without anything showing on the cape. To do so, I ended up using really powerful magnets.

Personal Thoughts:

Urgh, the shoe armor kept hitting my calves throughout the day. I ended up with two massive bruises. I seriously need to find a way to fix this...

Styling Notes

The wig was parted, stubbed, and then the pigtails were added on using the foam core method.
