Construction Details:

Alright, let's go from the top down.
Goggles: I made these out of craft foam and painted them red with acrylic paint. The lenses came from a pair of sunglasses I bought at the 99 cent store. I tried to tint them with nailpolish and window paint, but it didn't work all that well. So I ended up gluing some yellow construction paper behind them to make it stand out more.
Wig: Bought it online and trimmed it a bit.
Drill: Came with the box set. It lights up. 8D
Jacket: Ah... some shirts I butchered. I have no idea why I did that, as they were short sleeved so I ended up taking them apart anyways. I used stitch witchery to attach the red bits. On the back I ironed on the Gurren symbol, which I had to draw in photoshop. I couldn't find a clear picture, so I traced over from the anime.
Bandages: It's white fabric that I velcro'd together in the back. Then I took strips of bandages and hot glued them around to the back. Did the same for the legs, just glued them to the socks instead.
Belt: Bought two belts and took the buckle off one.
Pants: I got these from a thrift store, as I am the worst at pants. I took off the button and modified the top so that there would be a little gap.
Shoes: I glued some red fabric in a strip on my shoes. Then I cut out a circle with a hole in the middle out of furniture foam. I covered that with black fabric and glued it to the top of my shoes.
Boota: Made him out of felt. I sort of used a pattern, but I had to alter it alot. His sunglasses are craft foam and he has a wire in his tail.
