Construction Details:

So Binkx made this costume out of what had mostly been other old Ashley costumes. (The boot covers and wig belonged to Daitenshi, and the orange sweater belonged to Binkx.) She then got my roommate to airbrush the brown sweater to be accurate, made a new skirt, and then... made the whole thing tearaway! I actually have a little hotpants bodysuit version of Ashley's popstar getup (also made by Binkx) hiding out underneath the costume. It's one of the more ridiculous things I've ever worn, and that's saying something. My major contribution to the costume was wearing colored contacts.

Personal Thoughts:

I have a really weird desire to remake this (to be not tearaway). I don't know why, since I have no fondness at all for Ashley, but it was kind of fun to pose like a total derp in all my photos. And it was super fun wearing this thing onstage in our skit.
