Construction Details:

This was made more than 2 years ago XD Of course when Uni first came out there were no full colour body references available so I guessed some of it. Luckily I wasn't too far off and only had to add and change some minor details!

I originally had zippers on my sleeves because that's what all of the other people in Millefiore had... and then it turned out Uni didn't so I had to add in the white+flower part of the sleeves. The top gave me a bit of a hard time since I needed it to show my mid-riff but I opted to use a stretchy type of fabric so it turned out alright in the end. =D

It was the first time for me to make something like the mushroom hat! Basically, it was like a giant pillow with stuffing inside. (I find the stuffing to weigh down the hat most of the time though so I often had to make sure my hat didn't fall down too much) I studied the panels with Uni in it for a loooong time. At first I made it way too big and had to trim down the size. I made the tassels so I could find the perfect coloured string to match the fabric I used for the trims and motifs =)

The flower motifs are all fabric, except for the blue stars. Those are painted on with a stencil because I thought that would make them more uniform and crisp.

I wanted the cape to have a really full effect to it so I used a semi-circle pattern for it. =D

Pacifier was made by me out of Model Magic and styrofoam XD

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the outcome of this costume! ;W; I love Hime to bits and I was SUPER sad when the end of the arc came....... But it's alright, I'll just go sit with my Gamma under the giant umbrella and sip our Pina Colada...
