Construction Details:

I saw most people bought their Chrome dress but I wanted to make mine since I saw minor details other people didn't have on their dresses. I got a lightweight cotton gauze and just used broadcloth as lining, nothing fancy. I thought it didn't need extravagant fabric since it seems more of a casual free-flowing dress. I decided a lightweight gauze would be perfect~ overall, I'm very happy with the fabric choice though I have to admit, the straps of my sleeve broke twice... >__> As for the making of the dress, I used a commercial pattern for it since I wanted everything to be well-made. Later when everything was almost finished, I came to the conclusion that I can't use commercial patterns because the facing ended up being really strange in shape. At the end, I had to fix things up my way. It was really annoying!
