I make a horrible Ikuto, but he's my favorite character so I can't help it. Costume construction for this cosplay was relatively easy. The pants are made of black twill, as are most of my pants. Invisible zipper on the side for closure, and there are pockets to hold personal items. The "belts" are actually strips of black satin ribbon; I will probably go back later and redo them with something more leather like. The top is made of a black suiting material and black lining. There are darts in the back to make it more fitted as the original pattern was rather boxy. The sleeves were modified a little as was the collar. The bias tape is actually hand stitched because my machine refused to cooperate and sew in a straight line. An invisible zipper is stitched to the bias tape for closure. The wig was cut and styled. It's okay but it's not great. The violin was purchased off of eBay for a fairly reasonable price. I love Ikuto's purple possessed violin so I purchased a purple one rather than a standard violin. Yoru's egg was purchased in a set from Japan and opens to reveal an almost actual sized Yoru inside.
