Construction Details:

World's ugliest Hawaiian shirt! Made from cotton, purple swirly lines were painted on with acrylic mixed with textile medium. Shorts were bought at Target. Wig was a five-minute job. Goggles might be the most ghetto thing I've ever made. Foam core, leftover acrylic cabuchons (from Fai's staff), elastic, and a backing layer of foamies. Held together with hot glue. I cut up some fake eyelashes and used the large spikes on my bottom lids to approximate Franky's eye design. I attempted open-shirt binding but it FAILED MISERABLY so I'm wearing a nude camisole over my T-Kingdom 1300.

Personal Thoughts:

I've wanted to do this costume of Franky's for about three years now (basically since I read/saw ~chapter 355/episode 249 when Kokoro throws the shorts in his face). Super happy to have done it. Next step is building a bazooka/cannon thing and bloodying myself up in the ocean!

I included picture 4 because I really did try to grow my leg hair out for this! It's a pity it doesn't show up better. The third picture is entitled "youarenotcute.jpg." Rob wanted a shot that was overly girly because I had failed super-hard at binding. XD
