Construction Details:

...I thought this would be an easy costume to make but boy, I was wrong. The pleated hounds tooth skirt was probably the most infuriating thing Ive ever made. The fabric had to be washed and dyed before sewing anything, but because its a woven hounds tooth, the fabric got distorted and turned into a super textured... mess. I also chose probably the hardest way to make the skirt, but it turned out exactly how I wanted it, so it was worth the effort. The sweater was configured from two extra large sweaters I found at a thrift store. I wanted to be able to get the cable patterns down the front, but I ran out of time to figure that out. The school symbol was hand painted on.
