This was made for a large group cosplay of ponies. You could interpret your pony any way you wanted. I went kinda disco with mine. I used low lustre duchess satin for the dress. I joined two different pattern to make the dress. I used purple lame to make the trim and the maple leaf appliques. I used stablizer and machine appliqued all the leaf. I used sculpey to make the horn and ears. I glazed them after cooking. I sewed the horn directly into the wig but the ears I glued onto a headband. The wig and tail were custom dyed using the FW method. The tail was orginally a cher wig in white. Once it was dyed I stubbed it. I really wanted the tail to stand out from the dress so I constucted a "rig" to hold it. I cut out a piece of a clip board about 6"x6" square. Used a dremmel I smoothed the edges and made slit's for a belt to got thru. I then gorilla glued a small piece of pvc pipe to the bored. I then gorilla glued the stubbed wig into the pvc. I cut a small hole in the back of the dress and pulled the wig thru. I covered the pipe with a big bow and attached the belt. When I put on the dress I just tighted up the belt to hold it in place and it looks great.
