Construction Details:

The dress is fully lined. I ended up starting with a base pattern and vastly altering it from there. The white 'ribbons' are actually elastic. If I had actually made them as ribbon it would have been exceptionally difficult to get in and out of the costume. The base wig I purchased on eBay. I trimmed the bangs and added to the hair antenna. I made them by Hot gluing floral wire into craft foam and slipping that through the wig mesh and sewing it in place. I made sure the craft foam was the same color as the wig. Then I used a small piece of hair from teh wig and wrapped it tightly around the wire. At the very end I used hot glue to secure it.

Personal Thoughts:

I had so much fun in this costume with my other Sailor Animates. I simply felt very naked. Also the next time I wear this I need to be more aware of my accessories. Some of them are out of place in these photos.
