Construction Details:

Based on Hello! Project's newest JPop group - S/Mileage. This version is from their single Otona ni Narutte Muzukashii. We searched high and low for the proper hot pink plaids, of which we needed two different styles. Not being able to find the right plaid, we found something as close as we could find with the black tones that we needed, and dyed the material hot pink. We were very pleased with the outcome. We created simple 2 tiered pink skirts. The sweaters were altered long sleeve shirts that we cut apart and added white underneath to give the look of a white button up. We took 6 gold buttons that we glued pin tacks and chain to to give that open button look. With the left over material, we created small rosettes for the side of the shirt. We took several iron on patches, cut them apart to creat a new design, which we sewed to the middle of the rosettes. Hair bows and accessories were also created using the left over material.
