Friends Kiki and Ria were a riot at Nashi Con as Taichi and Koushirou. Kiki's been asking me to cosplay as Yamato for a while; after Nashi Con and their antics, I decided to.

This was a relatively easy cosplay to put together. Ria did such an awesome job styling Taichi's wig that I asked her to style Yamato's, and she agreed to. The jeans are men's Converse jeans purchased on sale from Target. Since they are made for men and I am obviously not a man, I have to wear a belt to keep them in place and from flashing people. The shirt I made out of dark hunter green knit. Boots and gloves aren't exact matches, but it was really difficult finding the right gloves and boots when summer was so close. The gloves are average gardening gloves that are large on my hand. I even tried making gloves out of brown microsuede but they ended up too small so I had to scrap them. The boots were in my closet, which I hardly ever wore and thought I'd put them to use as cosplay boots. Gabumon and the harmonica - which I can't play, by the way - were purchased for a good price off of eBay.
