Soo... I didn't think I'd get to make this costume this early, due to school and so many other costumes planned, but over my past winter break I said to myself, "Hell with it, I'm making my Ashford uniform now!!" and I begun and finished most of the costume in a few days...
I had to tailor a lot of it after that though and spent a long time embroidering the fleur de lis on the collar. After getting the wig and such under way, I finally got to have a fun little photoshoot with bluucircles as Suzaku, and later with the addition of skei as Gino. It was great hanging out as group at the con!
I really enjoy being Lelouch and it seems I share some mannerism with him, so it's not hard to be in character ^_^; - Personal Thoughts:
- I want to make nearly every one of Lelouch's outfits, starting with the Ashford uniform. I fell in love with Geass months after the series ended and sped through this epic and overly-dramatic series. I knew I would cosplay Lelouch the second I first saw him ^_^;;
When watching Code Geass, and naturally I was drawn to Lelouch. His intelligence, his sense of justice, loyalty. At first becoming Zero was mainly for himself and Nunnally, but it then becomes something much more than for himself, and he makes sacrifices, fully understanding the situation and what the outcome will be, in order to truly change the world.
Some fans see him as being controlling and an ass, but I believe that the entire time he is acting according to the greater goal, regardless of how some people may perceive his actions...
