Construction Details:

A lot of work went into these. Besides my costume we decided to make my b/f's from scratch as well. We dyed his top coat pink, and hand painted the captains and top coat. Wren made the swords and helped with a little of the sewing ^.^ The wig was my first time ever using silicone gel and it came out really nice, and I made the eyepatch attached to the wig so it wouldn't move around etc. Another new thing for me was using wonderflex which is what the big skull is made out of, awesome stuff!

Personal Thoughts:

Really love my costume. Super easy to wear and the wig didn't give me a headache at all even with all the crap on it, lol. I even made the front skull as a hook-in to a waist cincher I made so it's easy to pop off in an emergency =3
