Personal Thoughts:

After the Avatar series finale in mid-July (of 2008), I was so pumped that I had urges to do an Avatar cosplay NOW. Even though it was only 3 weeks before the con and my other costume still had a long ways to go, I couldn't help but say, "Hell, I'm going for it!!"

So I made this costume in 2 weeks, including the swords, which are mostly made of wood (and slide neatly in their sheath!)
I love Zuko to death. And I generally love Avatar to death, as well. I really enjoy cosplaying Zuko, and am glad that I've gotten the chance to do another outfit of his: teashop Zuko, which you can check out. I was able to use more theatrical techniques for the scar for that version. I also want to remake this costume since my skills have grown so much since this time (2008).
