Construction Details:

I spent SO MUCH TIME pressing and finishing seams and generally being anal for this costume, that I probably spent more time on it than many of my more sloppy but more complicated costumes. That's progress!! The green shirt and pants were sewn by me, the rest of it was pieced together from ebay and thrift stores.

Personal Thoughts:

I LOVE Hetalia, but I would never have cosplayed from it if my sister's college friends didn't have a group and were missing an England. I don't make a very good blond (and yet I keep on doing blond characters orz) but I LOVED wearing this extremely comfortable and convenient outfit (POCKETS GALORE) and I loved hanging out with so many other Hetalia fans! Even if I felt like an old fogey. =( Note on 1st photo: I know it's a blurry photo, but it's my favorite and also, 100% appropriate in my opinion! lol drunk england at the bar, ranting about america to the barkeep no doubt! Photo #2: The China is my little sister Tomoyo Ichijouji; I also made her costume. =) America and Canada are my sister's college friends~ I don't know if they have accounts here. Photo #3: I'm sorry, I am incapable of taking serious pictures. I should just stick with making costumes for others. XD;
