Construction Details:

It was kinda like a little dream to do this cosplay XD. Actually, when I was playing Disgaea 1, my favorite class was the ronin ! I don't know why but I loved it, and my ronin character was the strongest (with my mage). And so I really really wanted to do a ronin cosplay... even if it was an unknow class and everyone would think I'm Motoko from Love Hina. But I never did it, as when I did my Disgaea group, we didn't have a Flonne (and I like Flonne anyway :3).

But I was still thinking about it ! When I played Disgaea 2 I was really disapointed seeing no ronin class in it (but awesome game anyway), but when I started Disgaea 3 it was so much better : the class was back, the design improved, AND one of the story characters was a ronin ! And, I mean... PINK ? for a demon ? I loved this xD. So I finally had the chance to do this cosplay "dream" after more than 2 years, by making Asuka :3.

I couldn't find a proper light pink as I should have used, but I loved this bright flashy pink so I used it ♥. The hakama was a pain in the ass to make, and even if I copied a real japanase hakama a friend lent me to do it, I don't really like how the pleats are coming out. I was cursed with the ears that I bought then lost, so I had to borrow a friend's ones. The wig was annoying too, as I couldn't put the hair accessory Asuka's wearing ;__; and it kept sliding.

I don't think I ever ironed a cosplay SO much. During the making, and ever after, again again again... and again (before and after each time I wore it xD).

I made it for the Cosplay Parade of the WCS in Nagoya (Japan) to wear it with friends as Raspberyl and Adell, but I didn't have a wig nor ears then :'(. Then I wore it again with a friend as Big Star-Sama, but we only have like ONE picture together ! (and my face's horrible on it xD)

Anyway, YAY for Disgaea cosplays :3 ! It's only my second one, but I'm planning to do Rozy and if I could I would do so much cosplay of those games *w*.
