Construction Details:

The hoodie top was made from orange stretch knit and a non stretch upholstery plaid fabric. Sewing these fabrics in one garment was tricky. The appliques are made from fabric scraps and the Minimo bunny appliques were made from printable iron ons that I created and hand painted. The skirt is the same plaid and a denim with rick rack trim, and again handmade appliques. The legwarmers snap down the side and have a drawstring with a stopper on the top. The shoes began as black and were painted with fabric paint. The long sleeve red shirt was found in my closet and used as is. My real hair was used with this costume. This later became difficult when I grew my hair out long, but it's rolled up into sausage curls and the yellow feather boa is pinned in.
