Construction Details:

EDIT: This costume was partially revamped in 2016, seven years after initially made. The wig, headphones, shoes and other details are all new.

A fairly simple costume, so not too many tears spilt over this one, hahah! Made everything you see, from the shirt to the shorts; my crappy, last minute shoe covers; an altered pair of dollar store headphones, etc.



My biggest problem was the wig. I am a very... particular person, so most orange wigs just weren't right for me, so I decided to dye one. I've dyed wigs before, but for some reason this one dyed like the devil. I sprayed it with dye like 5 times and still parts weren't dyeing properly. (I may have an idea of what went wrong, but I won't go into it) Thus, the color-job on the wig isn't perfect, but overall I like the color. I want to fix up the styling if/when I wear this again, but other than that, I am happy ^__^

Personal Thoughts:

I'm not much of a video game person because I don't have time to devote to it, but after picking up a DS for "educational reason" *cough* I started playing TWEWY after hearing about it from friends. I really loved the storyline and the gameplay, and instant fell in love with our emo main character, Neku. It's amazing to see how his outlook changes each time he plays the game, and he really grows as a person....
