About this Costume

The top was very simple, I made it using a combination of draping and drafting a pattern, and after a few trials and errors with the sleeves, I figured out how to make them work (yay!). The shorts I was originally going to wear were a pair I've owned for a while, but I decided to take apart the pants from another pattern, and used them as a pattern to make the shorts from! The socks were from welovecolors.com, and the boots I bought ended up being so huge on me I tripped as soon as I took 3 steps, and I ended up wearing my black ones which are similar in style.
The heart charm on my necklace was made for me by Vintage-Aerith, and the chain itself was just some maroon ribbon I picked up at the store, and the setting was some craft foam that I painted silver (versus gold, which Sheryl has in the original version). The headband was one I already owned, and just covered with orange material so that it would be the proper color. The sunglasses were actually ones I've had laying around forever, and worked perfectly with this!
I remade the shirt (third version yay!) and wore purchased shorts instead of ones I had made myself. I also bought new socks, and found the perfect red shoes! I also got a new headband and bracelets, and the resin heart was commissioned from Starlit Creations. - Personal Thoughts:
- I originally had planned to do the version from the episode, and when I learned my friend Stardust462 was doing the same outfit, I suggested we collaborate, and I ended up doing the variant (I love pink). It was really interesting doing the exact same costume with someone, only with different colors, but I had so much fun!
