Construction Details:

This costume was pretty low on my to-do list, because I never thought I would be able to find the right color fabric. Then one day at a fabric store in Keene, I found the perfect color in the almost perfect type of fabric for just $4/yard. The only reason why it's not 100% perfect is it's a little too thick and very hot to wear.

I made the jacket from a pattern, modifying the bottom and adding the white bias tape trim. The skirt is also made from a pattern, with side pleats added in.

Styling Notes

The wig started out as an Ivy in 613, then 20 sharpies in various red and pink shades later I created this color. I messed up cutting the bangs a little too short, so I have to pull it forward more than I'd like.
