Construction Details:

This costume was made in about a month an a half while I was working 53 hours a week and applying to graduate school: NEVER AGAIN. I'm fairly proud of how it turned out as all of the patterns in the outfit were drafted by myself. This was my first time working with wonderflex (the cage and the hat) and after an initially rough start it was a lot of fun. This was my second time making a hat and besides some wrinkles in the fabric covering it, I don't think it could have possibly come out better.

How was the wig colored?

FW ink + rubbing alcohol

Styling Notes

This wig wasn't the exact color that I wanted so I dyed it twice using an ink & alcohol mixture. I should have rinsed it a bit longer than I did because a little bit of the color rubbed off on my collar. I trimmed the wig in the back so that it was the correct length after it was finally dry.
