Construction Details:

Modified a pattern for this one. The original had a front-zipper closure with a standing collar and kimono sleeves, so I made it into a double-breasted coat with a hood and fitted set-in sleeves. The fur was something like $40/m so I tried to buy as little as I could and ended up just having enough to do the entire thing. NOTHING LEFT. I got lucky. :'D

Personal Thoughts:

Okay so basically what happened is mine and TseUq's friend hakukumo was like WATCH THIS SERIES and so we did and then we fell in love with it so we're all like LET'S COSPLAY IT BUT NOT NOW SINCE WE'RE TOO BUSY but then tragedy struck and my masquerade costume got ruined so we had free time and and... yeah. Went with the manga/novel version of the coat because I wanted to be different. And you know, sexy long coat. Yes.
