About this Costume
Construction Details:
Hat: This was the first time I've made a hat. I made a wireframe with craft wire, covered it with polar fleece for poofiness. Then did Casa White Satin for the top and silver silk pleated for the inside. The roses are custom dyed and the edge of the hat is hand sewn lace. There are also tiny little blue/white/purple butterflies in the roses and a giant blue beaded applique.

Top: Drafted by me. Casa Chiffon lined with lavender cotton for the body and cuffs. There is tuxedo pleats, 16 functional buttonsholes, chiffon ruffles, lace trim with matching inside trim under the chiffon and buttons on the cuffs to match the other 16.

Neck Fluff: Drafted by me. The white part is a separate piece. Its a chiffon with two layers of lace all over it and hand beaded with tiny pearls. The Cameo matches the earring perfectly and the whole piece attaches around the neck with two silver, hidden snaps.

Jacket (see other photos for jacket): Drafted by me. White fur lined with red to purple satin. There is also a hidden pocket for my cellphone :p

Skirt: Black part from pattern, bottom Drafted by me. This is two layers. A spandex skirt with the tulle coming off of it and the black velvet skirt to go over it. The Tulle is blue and purple strips with black overlay and train. The Velvet skirt is non stretch curtain fabric with zipper, waistband and doubled up trims on the bottom which is fully lined in a black cotton.

Shoes: 8.5 inch heels O.O

Jewelry: Blue Rose Cameo ring made to match earrings(diamond and Blue bought)

Makeup: Saki_b did my makeup and I found the PERFECT eyelashes online. They had clear beads at the end like hers. I did have to buy some 110s to put underneath the beaded lashes to keep the heavy lashes out of my eyeline. They were fun to untangle every once in a while if I blinked too much.

Belt Buckle: Foamie, paint and clear beads.
Personal Thoughts:
I LOVE Parakiss and when the opportunity came to make my favorite character to match some of my good friends in their amazing stuff, well I was happy as a clam. I poured my heart and soul into this one and it was great to work with such a wonderful team of friends.
