Construction Details:

The top was a commercial pattern from Burda that I found by complete accident online, and modified slightly for Lizzie (I lengthened it a bit, and changed the sleeve to have puffs at the top). The skirt was based off of the one I wore for Hachi which also has an open back, and the pannier and underskirt were from my Hachi costume. The boots were a steal for $5 - brand new! - at a thrift store, and I love the flower design on the side. The main pink fabric was originally white, I dyed it using Rit dye, and the darker pink was the exact shade I had been looking for, on sale for $3/yard. :D The pink stripes were embroidered on my sewing machine using the basic zig zag stitch, not the neatest in the world, but I'm happy with them for a start.

Personal Thoughts:

LIZZIE! FINALLY! I had promised Redustrial and Maxieyi that I would cosplay Lizzie to go with their Ceil and Sebby and unfortunately wasn't able to do the costume until now. I'm so glad I waited for S2 to come out! While I like Lizzie's outfits in the manga, I adore this dress oh so much. Although I look like a huge pink marshmallow in this. Gotta fix that, stat!
