Construction Details:

This was the first cosplay that I ever attempted. I'm actually quite pleased with it, though I do have some updates planned for the future. The wig was a simple blonde wig from Amphigory. I parted it and added in the wefts before pulling it into pigtails. I then added in the long extensions and used the pigtails to create the odangos around it. For my first attempt at styling a wig, I'm very pleased with the outcome. The entire costume was created without a pattern of any sort. My friend NyuNyu helped by giving me tips, advice and showing me sites on where to get some of the supplies. I based what I did off of her Sailor Mercury cosplay. I used Queensland crepe for the skirt and collar, which I highly suggest. It has the most amazing flow to it. The front and back bows were eventually redone by NyuNyu to match hers in size and shape. This costume will soon be redone.
