Construction Details:

My very first costume that I had ever made all by myself and my first big sewing project. I was a total big-time novice when I made this costume, but I think it came out really great! It was first worn to Otakon in 2008, however I was unable to finish her nunchaku until AnimeUSA that same year (a few months later).

Unfortunately I have had to retire this costume. Sometime after returning from Anime Mid-Atlantic last year, I managed to somehow ruin my Selphie dress with blue ink. I have been trying all sorts of stain removers to get it out but nothing has worked, and I haven't been able to find a yellow cotton fabric that is close enough in color to the original (so that I can replace the soiled panels).

Selphie is my favorite of my costumes, however, and she is so much fun to cosplay! So I do plan to remake this costume eventually...

EDIT: Ok, well this costume is still stained but I've worn it out a few more times anyway, just because. >_> I will remake this costume soon, really!
