Construction Details:

I don't even know where to start! I had been working on this costume for Katsucon 2009 and wasn't able to get it finished. I had so much trouble with this thing, its not even funny! I am mostly happy with how it turned out, but there will be things changed for the next wearing of it! The parts I am most happy with are the skirts. I actually built a bustle underneath to help pull them out since her skirts are very full and spread out to so you can see her legs. There are a lot of little details on the skirt and dress that you can't really see in pictures which is kind of a pity. Also, my new wig is a million levels above the first one.

Personal Thoughts:

Ohmydog, Eternal Sonata totally consumed me! It is by far my favorite video game. And I just loved the character designs. I wanted to cosplay Serenade even before I played the game and after playing it, my desire was reinforced. I also convinced almost everyone I knew to cosplay a particular character. I was so happy that my friends were willing to put up with my obsession *^^* I was so happy that everything came together as well as it did!
