Construction Details:

Drafted a lot of my own patterns, mainly for the collar, skirt and sleeves. There's layers of tulle in between the 2 skirts, and then there's a tutu skirt underneath the whole thing to give it that extra poof. Ribbon is hand sewn on to the thigh highs while wearing it. The scallop edging on the top is an extra piece attached and the seam hidden by the ribbon. Arm warmers are made from white knit and slide on and off with ribbons attached. Wings are made using 4g copper wire, felt and 2 lbs of feathers. They just slip into the back of the dress in a corset. Mini head ears are made of foam and feathers, and attach by sliding over wire antennae that's under the wig.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume took a long time to make but it was well worth it! She's beautiful in the anime, and I wanted to capture that.
