I'm Italian. Massively Italian, blood-wise, anyways. Culture-wise, not so much. Mostly because my dad forces my relatives on me when I want nothing to do with them. However, somewhere along the line, I wanted to start cosplaying my heritage. I can trace one line of my dad's family to a town named after our family (!!!) in very northern Italy, to the point where it looks almost Swiss. So I decided to start with an Italy at a time when it was under the control of German nations. Thus Chibitalia. EVERYTHING IS SO LONG. After seeing everyone else, I realized Chibitalia is just short as hell, not that the skirt is super long. But oh well, that's what petticoats are for. One of the easiest costumes I've done recently; I made it in one night and went out to Denny's with Jazqui in the morning in it to celebrate.
