Construction Details:

Simple skirt and vest, with lace added to the bottom of the skirt. The lace was stained with tea to make it more of an off-white (because the white in the plaid is an off-white, and having straight white against that would look awful). I had the shirt already and I ended up making the neckerchief by hand because there was two feet of snow on the ground and I couldn't get back home from my apartment on campus to get my sewing machine. I ended up doing the guitar+straw hat variation (or "Passionate Rhythm," if you will) because I already had those and I wasn't able to order the pricey parasol I wanted for Yuka in time. People still seemed to enjoy it, though.

I like to take it easy.
