Construction Details:

Dress the dress was made with stretch knit so it makes it very comfy to wear and the drape is lovely too. Dress is fully lined and boned for stability. Sleeves are separate from the dress and just slip on and are held up with elastic. Designs on sleeves are heat-n-bonded only because satin stitching on this fabric causes severe amounts of puckering. Mini-cape took some math skills to figure out, but I love the way it looks in the end. It is held on the dress with hook and eyes. Gold bits are gold vinyl over craft foam. Gems were casted by me, though I must give credit to Ice_Man for shaping the tear drop ones.

Personal Thoughts:

I'm very proud to say that when I sat down to make this costume I spent a grand total of $10 on this costume. Fabric was left overs from TyLee, Ranka, Lina, and Cassandra. The Wig I had purchased several months ago too. While Nia isn't my OMGFAV character from the show I REEEALLLY liked her outfits. Personally I'm more of a Yoko person, but Nia is too adorable to pass up to.

*** Man this costume turned up reeeeally hot pink in some shots. I swear it isn't that pink in person!
