Construction Details:

Ever since I first heard of the Magnet song, I knew that I wanted to cosplay the beautiful dresses and wear those really awesome butterfly winged headphones. X3 I asked Yona to make Magnet Miku with me and we collaborated on the making of and shared some materials and planned this for Fanime 2010. The dress is made of black bridal satin from a home made pattern consisting of a circle skirt, a waist band, and a bikini top pattern, and the white waistband is detachable. It's white satin with a layer of interfacing in it with black lace sewn and glued to it. The gloves were altered from black wrist gloves with lace glued to the ends, and cut the fingers off of, and fray checked. Bows made from the same dress material. The wig is from Cosplaywig on eBay. It's their milkshake pink curly wig. Lenses are the Dollyeye Blue circle lenses. I finished the headphones during Dec 2009 and they were made of many ghetto materials such as altoid cans, colored binders, sharpie, mod podge, craft foam, usb cords, hot glue and lots of paint.
