Construction Details:

I used a mens historical christmas carol pattern, witch was not a very good pattern for wemon I must say. I would advise aginst it. The black fabric is Gabardine. The "busle-like" patterned fabric is a nice rose patterned jacquard. The white shirt is made of poplin. The white shirt also bells out at the elbow because I wanted it to look nice if I took the jacket off. Also it is long in the back. This costume was my first time with working buttons. The chain on the jacket are 2 sizes of silver plated beads and 2 sizes of Swarovski Crystals.

Personal Thoughts:

I had a ball in this costume! i put alot of effort into makeing sure that when I sit in this costume that everything will fall and sit just like it does in the ref. picture.
