Construction Details:

Where should I start with this costume? The dress is made entirely out of an amalgamation of a number of Renaissance dress patterns and several different GOOD satins. Designed the petals and trim myself. Though you can't really see it, the wig is a blonde pigtail set off of eBay (since matching shades of blonde is hell). So there are two extension clips back there.

Personal Thoughts:

I'm going to have my whole Host Club someday, but for now, I'm the only one done. It started with a vague idea and we just rolled with it. This dress is HUGE. I feel like a giant cupcake in it. Not many people knew who I was dressed as when they saw me initially... it wasn't until I said the episode did I get an "AHA! That's it! OMG!" reaction. Also, heavy ponytail is heavy. O_O
