Construction Details:

This costume is pretty simple, but I still took great effort to make sure it was as accurate as possible! I drew a vector version of the design on her shirt based off of a screen shot, and applied it to the shirt with iron-on paper. The skirt was hand-painted with the plaid(ish) pattern. I styled the wig as well :3

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was a part of Underground Cosplay's Comic-Con 2009 Masquerade Entry, "A Horrible Skit," of course based off of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog xD! I also made my hubby's Dr. Horrible costume. Other than the blast I had performing in the Masquerade with my friends, the highlight was definitely meeting Felicia Day (the actress who plays Penny!) while in costume ... she said "You look just like me!!" and asked me how I made the shirt so accurate! Needless to say, I was thrilled xD
