Construction Details:

Wore my Miator school uniform I made back in 2007, but because my hair isn't red anymore, and I used it for being Nagisa, I decided to be Kaori instead. Leelee and I had wanted to wear these costumes again together since we liked them so much. AAC was the perfect time to take them out of storage and wear again! Got some nice photos! Made the bow and used a wig I already had, but rewashed, styled and cut it to be like Kaori's hair. (funny enough it was the first wig I ever owned. Bought it back in 1999 for a school project lol)Came in handy!

Personal Thoughts:

I'm finding that 2009 was a year of disguises for me.The challenge for this year was picking characters that I loved, but ones that gave me the ability to morph into a different roll than I normally would. Kaori is a sad and sickly character. Something I totally am IRL, but don't tend to pick to cosplay. The dark hair and me not smiling a lot really made people not recognize me,(but I really do get happy when people do and actually want to socialize)which is total flattery to me because it shows that I can really get into character. It was a different character to play. Had a great time posing for photos with Leelee. Being Kaori was fitting because she was Shizuma after all. <3
