Construction Details:

Materials: Celery green casa satin, white spandex (strip on each glove for stretch), white muslin for the trim, black basic ribbon, ruffled ankle socks from SockDreamz, black heels from Walmart, a zipper and velcro for various pieces~

It's a bodice over a circle skirt, which patterns are easy to find for. I drafted the patterns for the arm bands, choker, garter, butt bow, and gloves (which were a pain due to lack of stretch, EVEN on the bias). Everything else was fairly obvious as to how to make. I consulted Meru and Katie for tips on this costume.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was for Meru's Zero no Tsukaima-themed Maid Cafe (AKA The Charming Fairy Maid Cafe~) at Anime South this past December! I loved Agnes' maid color (I'm a biiiiig pastel green fan) so I decided to join! Not to mention the designs are adorable!!

The only complaints I have are that the corset doesn't really cinch...It was the first one I ever made, and it was rushed, so it's not very great. D: It's also not lined cause I ran out of time, and didn't want to stress too much prior to the con. ^_^a

I had a TON of fun participating in the maid cafe at Anime South, and I would love to do it again! Next time I wear this costume, I'll probably throw on my matching ponytails for the cuteness factor~♥
