Construction Details:

This was such a simple costume -- construction wise at least. The skirt, underskirt and pannier were all purchased from FanPlusFriend, and the shoes are the same ones that I wear for Miwako. The blouse was made by me, except the collar, and sleeve endings which I tore off of a lolita blouse that didn't quite fit, and sewed onto one I made myself. :] So, a fairly simple costume for the most part.

Personal Thoughts:

I LOVE HACHI!!! I've always wanted to cosplay her, and am so thrilled I finally got the chance. It also gave me an excuse to drag DarkVyse88 around as Takumi. The only reason this costume was difficult was because of all the trial and error I went through with it -- mostly the wig. The shirt though, as I said ended up being made by me, and honestly it had been something I wanted to avoid doing. The wig is the most expensive wig I've ever made, including my Sheryl Nome one, mostly because I didn't know how to use Sharpie's to dye properly when I started out, and then I couldn't get the color I wanted!! So, over $200 later, I was finally able to get the color right, days before the convention. >( Not doing that ever again.
