Construction Details:

Made the dress from party taffeta- never again! It wrinkles just by looking at it! And is a little delicate. The wig was done by the lovely and talented Pocky Princess Darcy!! I makes the costume!
Another costume to be sacrificed to the haunted house! Used for a crazy princess at Haunted Acres in NH.

Personal Thoughts:

Its only about 75% done. I had been planing on making this for a long time, then wasn't. Then I just bought the fabric one day when there was a sale and was all excited again, commissioned the wig and got the pieces cut. That was as far as I had for a while. I had two costumes already in the works for AAC, but needed something for the formal. So the week before the con I was working in a rush and when I was pulling out a seem I ripped the bodice up the side! So it was pushed to the back till the night before I stayed up to repair and try to pull it together. I did not get to finished the shawl but my friend gave me a gold one in its place. Then I was not sure I was going to get my wig in time, so I brought my short wig just in case. But It made it!! I will have this done for AB 2010!!!
